Progressive Democrats of Cambridge - DFA

Part of our core mission is to support local progressive candidates. We have been very active in supporting terriffic progressive candidates.

This year we are supporting three excellent statewide candidates:

• Deval Patrick for Governor
• Andrea Silbert for Lieutenant Governor
• John Bonifaz for Secretary of the Commonwealth.

Our questionnaires for the Secretary of the Commonwealth race, and the candidates' responses, are below:

In 2005 we were very active in several local races, including:

• Cambridge City Council. We endorsed Jesse Gordon, Sam Seidel, Ken Reeves, and Denise Simmons. Reeves and Simmons won, and Reeves went on to become Mayor of Cambridge.
• Second Middlesex State Senate. We endorsed Pat Jehlen, and she won a stunning victory on Sep. 27!
